Royal -- Afternoons from 3pm-7pm
Royal is from the small town of Hokes Bluff, AL, a city that recently celebrated the installation of its first traffic light and the grand opening of a fast food restaurant. He attended college on a baseball scholarship in South Alabama. Royal is the Program Director for Rock 103 and has been with the station since 1996.
An act of petty larceny introduced him to his favorite artist.
As Royal puts it, "my love for rock and roll started after I stole a cassette off the dashboard of a car. It happened to be Ozzy's Blizzard of Oz and I was hooked from day one."
His mother must be proud. (We checked... she's not)
Royal's Ozzy fandom extended to the naming of his two beautiful daughters, Ozalynn and Ozrah. In his free time, he watches any type of sport on TV and spends time with his family.
